Modern systems of national law are inextricably linked with the relatively new, rapidly developing and highly significant phenomenon of international law - the law of international organizations.
Until now, international law did not know Periodicals publication devoted to the academic study of international organizations, first of all - the United Nations and its principal organs - the Security Council, General Assembly, the Economic and Social Council, International Court of Justice, as well as the subsidiary organs and specialized agencies of the UN.
The editorial board of the periodical "International law and international organizations" sees its task is to fill this gap in the systematic analysis of the regulatory institutional core of the modern system of public international law and, thus, further enhance the value of the UN in the modern world development.
Moreover, the new magazine will not leave out of sight, and the publication of theoretical and practical studies of the international legal organizations and the activities of regional associations and unions (the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, Council of Europe, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the Commonwealth of Independent States, Evraziyskoogo Economic Community, African Union, Organization of American States, the North American Free Trade Association, etc.). Regional military and military-political blocks also inevitably drew the attention of the authors of the new edition.
A significant part of the published studies will be directed to study the peculiarities of the legal framework of the European Communities and the European Union, the system of their bodies and institutions, as well as the mechanisms of international cooperation of EU Member States. This legal system is considered, especially in a comparative perspective in relation to other regional organizations, which places the problem of integration in their respective regions.
