Abstract.

The aim of this research is to study the effect of Sandplay on the anxiety and psychological stress level of university students with attention deficit disorder and hyperactivity features. The subject of the research is the efficiency of Sandplay in working with adults with ADD features. The research involved ten university students with evident ADD features, high anxiety and psychological stress level who participated in Sandplay for ten weeks. The research implied one-group diagnostics before and after the therapy. The main research methods include theoretical analysis of research literature and correlation study. The obtained data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon rank test. The results of the research demonstrate significant differences in what concerns the reduction of anxiety and psychological stress experienced by students. The research results allow to make a statement that the Sandplay therapy may have a beneficial effect on anxiety and psychological tension felt by students with attention deficit disorder and hyperactivity features.
