Digital Humanities: Analysis of the Application of Digital Technologies in the Sphere of Humanities
Abstract.The subject of the research is the variety of digital culture forms that have been developed within the framework of the interdisciplinary research at the interface of cultural research and information communicative technologies. The object of the research is the application of digital technologies in humanities projects. The aim of the research is to analyze app projects Digital Humanities as part of the development of the digital culture. The authors examine the application of information communication technologies in studying cultural heritage, corpus analysis of literary texts, work with big media collections, 3D modelling of art objects, network analysis, etc. The authors focus on interpretation and definitions of Big Data and Linked Data in terms of humanities. The research methodology has a complex nature that combines different methods and approaches. The authors of the article apply the comparative analytical and cross cultural analysis as well as synergetic approach. The main conclusions of the research are the new definitions of aura, replicability, pre-representational thinking, rhizome in terms of the development of digital culture and based on the example of digital humanities. The authors' special contribution to the research is their analysis of a great number of interdisciplinary projects that illustrate the influence of digital technologies on the development of modern culture. The novelty of the research is caused by the fact that the authors constructs a new concept of cross cultural capital that is developed in the process of consumption of digital cultural products online or offline.
