Abstract.

The subject of the research is the methodology of the technical preparation for the practical shooting training at educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The object of the research is the practical shooting training process  at educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The authors consider the specifics of the practical training of teaching and practical training of shooting. The problem of increasing the fire readiness of police officers is most acute, which can be improved by introducing the method of a sports federation of practical shooting. At present, the patterns of high-speed shooting at various distances with a lack of time, as the main condition for increasing the level of preparedness of ATS employees have not been studied in sufficient depth. To achieve the research objectives, the authors have used the following research methods:1. Analysis of literary sources and synthesis of scientific and methodological material.2. Survey, survey and interview.3. Pedagogical testing.4. Pedagogical observations and control.
The main conclusions of the study are the following. In order to improve the shooting skills of police officers, targeted training is necessary taking into account primarily the technical training used in the sports federation of practical shooting as well as the peculiarities of shooting skills. A special contribution of the authors to the research topic is their methods and means of training shooters at educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. The novelty of the research is caused by the determination of the most effective means and methods of theoretical and practical shooting training that can be used in shooting training of Internal Affairs personnel.
