How to write an article?

The Journals are scientific. The articles must comply with the requirements to scientific publications and correspond to the theme of the Journal (please, see the full list of rubrics on the website of the Publishing House).

Recommended volume of an article is 12 000 to 50 000 characters in total.

It is not desirable for an author, while interpreting certain scientific terms, to start a discussion by correspondence with other authors of dictionaries and study manuals, which are not able to provide scientific basis for their definitions within their format. It would be much better for the authors to use the texts of monographs and dissertation theses of their opponents for scientific discussion.

Please, do not make your scientific article a journalist article, do not fill it with quotations from newspapers and popular magazines, references to speeches on TV. However, we accept references to scientific resources on the Internet.

The Publishing House refuses the materials which are similar to library-research papers.

In his material the author should bring something novel to the scientific problem as well, as show good knowledge of the issue, and works of the scientists, who studied it before,.

We do not accept for publication parts of PhD's thesis papers, books, monographs, since they generally do not meet the requirements for the style of journal article. We also do not accept materials, which were previously published in other journals.

If the author sends his article to several journals at the same time, he should notify the Publishing House of this fact. If this was not done by the author in a timely fashion, he risks his reputation, since in the future his articles shall not be considered for publication.

The authors, who were caught on plagiary, are included into the "black list" of the Publishing House and they cannot expect for their articles to be published. Information on facts of plagiary is provided to other Publishing Houses, to the place of work (study) of the author, and to the Higher Attestation Commission.

The Publisher does not consider articles without information about the author (co-authors). Please, put your first name, patronymic and last name (we need it for further publication of information about the authors), your academic title and degree, place of work and position (please give it in full without any abbreviations), your telephone number and your working or studying address.

Please, do not put the title of the article in block print. For example, don't put it "HISTORY OF CULTURE", it is not correct. Please, write "History of Culture".

The list of literature is required at the end of your article and it should contain 10-15 sources (and the more, the better).

The articles are provided in electronic form only through the publisher's website www.nbpublish.com (Online-Publish: for printed journals, for online-journals).

After the registration you should add your article review (in Russian, 3-6 sentences), including three parts : object of study, method and methodology of study, novelty of study and conclusions.

Also, add 10 keywords.

Attach the article itself.
Please save your article as a Word file (any version of Word is acceptable) with .doc or .rtf. extension).
Use a standard style and do not put intervals (for headings and etc.).
Use left alignment and one-unit space.
Align the text on the left side of the page.
Paragraphs are aligned with a “tab”.
Headings should be centered and put in bold print.
Font size should be 12 point.
Please use « » for quotation marks. Use “ ” only if you want to use quotes within other quotes.
Put an en dash between dates (Ctrl+minus) without any spacing. In other cases please use an em dash ( (Ctrl, Alt+minus).
Give dates in parenthesis: (1932–1933). Do not put ‘year’.
When you put a date in the text of your article, please put: year 1920, 1920s, year of 1540s–1550s and so on.
Please do not write: the 60th, the twentieth of the twentieth century, the twentieth of the XX century, the 20th decade of the XX century.
Please use Roman numerals when you write centuries and names of Kings, for example: XIX century, Henry the IV.
Use a space, when you write initials or abbreviations. For example, please write M. N. Ivanov. Do not write: M.N. Ivanov, M.N.Ivanov, it is not correct.

Detailed requirements for the reviews:

The review for an article in a periodic journal is a source of information on the contents of the article and the results of the studies discussed therein.

The review serves the following purposes: it allows one to establish the general contents of the document and its relevance, and make decision whether the full text of the article is of interest.

It is used in information databases (including automatic ones) for the search for documents and information.

The review for an article should be informing (contain specific information, no generalizations), original, content – based (reflecting upon the general contents of the article and results of the studies), and structured (follow the logic of description of the results in an article).

The review should include following aspects of the contents of the article:
Object and goal of an article;
Method or methodology of an article;
Results of the study;

The results of the study should be described clearly and informationally. The author should refer to the key theoretical and experimental results, factual data, uncovered interrelations and patterns. The preference is given to the novel results, and results of long-standing value, as well as to important findings, conclusions contrary to existing theories, and to the data having practical importance in the opinion of the author.

The conclusions may be complemented by proposals, evaluations, recommendations, hypotheses, as described in an article.

The information provided in the title of an article should not repeat in the text of the review. It is better to avoid extra introductory phrases, such as “the author of the article studies”, “the article concerns”.

Historical references, descriptions of previously published works and generally known information should not be included into a review, unless they are key to it.

The text of a review should contain syntax constructions typical of scientific and technical documents, overly complicated grammar constructions should be avoided.

The remuneration is not paid for the articles in scientific journals.

Publications in the web publishing journals are free of charge for all authors (postgraduate students, holders of PhD and Doctor’s Degrees, students).

The materials of web publishing journals are included into the following systems:
the system of the Russian Science Citation Index;
the largest international periodicals database Ulrich'sPeriodicalsDirectory, which guarantees the greater link popularity.

All of the articles are given a unique identification registration number of DOI Registration Agency. We form and provide for every article and every book in both printed and electronic version with an original digital code. The prefix and the suffix together form a digital object identifier (DOI), which is found, quoted and indexed in the search engines.
